I wish I was Joking

Snowfall warning in effect for:
  • City of Calgary
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.

A pacific disturbance will move into Alberta tonight bringing heavy wet snow to south-central Alberta, including Calgary. Snow will begin Sunday night and continue through Monday. Snow will start to taper off Monday afternoon in the south and Monday night in central regions. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres, with locally higher amounts in the foothills, are expected to fall by Tuesday morning.

Over southern parts of Alberta there is a chance of freezing rain ahead of the system tonight into Monday morning.

Warnings may be extended to regions to the north and east as the system develops.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
