Sad moment of remembering

Sunrises always remind me of lost loved ones. When Marion and then Bernice past away in 2012, it was a shock. They were both pretty ill but I never thought they would die within a day of each other. Up until that time I never had someone die in front of me. There is nothing magical about that moment. I want to forget.

I use reflection to deal with loss. "Would they want us to be forever in dispair?" Of course not.

There are no poems or songs that can take that terrible feeling of loss away.

Time may heal all wounds, but the heart still remembers.

There is no nuggets of wisdom. Only remembering.
