New Glasses?

I switched to a new pair of eyeglasses recently. It's been six years since my last pair and I hadn't been to an eye doctor in the same amount of time. My eyes hadn't changed much, but the creepy walmart Optometrist who checked my eyes was extremely close to my face when he checked my eyes. I mean, we're talking uncomfortable kissing close. I wouldn't have minded if this was a young hot female optician, but this was a fat old guy. God, a shiver went down my back as I imagined a horrific tongue shooting out of the creep's mouth. Nasty.

I got the transition lenses that automatically darken when exposed to UV light. It makes a huge difference in my walking outdoors. No longer am I squinting in the sunlight. But when I'm driving, the lenses don't get that dark because most or if not all of the windows in the Subaru have UV protection.

I witnessed two ALMOST accidents the other day. Nothing worth writing about; but still, you have to wonder if people really pay attention when they drive these days. It's everyone for themselves on the road these days. I'm going to test drive a new Honda in a few weeks (I hope). I really want to drive the new Honda Insight. 60+MPG and under 19K sounds like a great deal to me.
